Dr. Lindsay Mathre, Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Mathre joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in February 2016. She is a graduate of Colorado State University, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in equine science cum laude and in the Honors College in 2004 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Having grown up in Lubbock, she is happy to come back home after practicing in central Texas and most recently in Midland, TX. Dr. Mathre has settled here with her husband, son, an English pointer named Lady, a Jack Russell terrier named Mickey Rooney, a domestic shorthair named Uggo, and a Maine coon named Pumpkin. She also has a half-Arabian horse named Tekno and a miniature horse named Munchkin. Dr. Mathre has an interest in preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, pain management, and dentistry. She looks forward to being a part of your veterinary healthcare team at Acres North Veterinary Hospital and providing excellent veterinary care for your pets.
Dr. Amanda Berry, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Berry joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in November 2015. She received her Bachelors of Science and Technology from Louisiana State University. Then, Dr. Berry attended St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grand Cayman and completed her clinical training at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Berry is originally from New Orleans, LA. She currently resides in Lubbock, TX with her 8 year old “All-American” dog, Lucy. Their favorite activities include non-stop ball-throwing, competing in top level agility, traveling for any reason at all but especially to go hiking and swimming, and participating in other canine sports. Dr. Berry’s particular interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, integrative medicine, and behavioral medicine. She is thrilled to be a practicing medicine at Acres North Veterinary Hospital and to be living in the great state of Texas!
Audry Frana, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Frana Joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in October 2016. She received her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2004 cum laude. Then she proceeded to continue her education at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2013. Dr. Frana was proudly born and raised in eastern Iowa on a hobby farm. On the farm she raised a multitude of different species including chickens, cattle, horses, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and of course dogs and cats. She has moved to Lubbock from Wisconsin where she has been practicing Small and Exotic animal medicine. Dr. Frana has been enjoying Texas with her husband, Cody, son, Lincoln, and their elderly Basset Hound Leela. Dr. Frana has a special interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery, small animal internal medicine, ophthalmology, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She is very excited to be with the Acres North team and would love to meet all of your pets: dogs, cats, and exotics!
Dr. Cristina Fusco, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Fusco joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in July 2017. She grew up in Pennsylvania and received her Bachelors of Science from Penn State University in 2013. Then, Dr. Fusco attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts, and she completed her clinical training at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She currently resides in Lubbock, TX with her fiancé, Greg. Their dog, Finn, and their cat, Maisie, were both adopted from the island of Saint Kitts. Dr. Fusco loves to travel and has visited 5 of the 7 continents so far. She enjoys all aspects of primary care but is particularly interested in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and cardiology. She is excited to be living in Texas and practicing medicine at Acres North Veterinary Hospital.
