Dr. Lindsay Mathre, Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Mathre joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in February 2016. She is a graduate of Colorado State University, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in equine science cum laude and in the Honors College in 2004 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Having grown up in Lubbock, she is happy to come back home after practicing in central Texas and most recently in Midland, TX. Dr. Mathre has settled here with her husband, son, an English pointer named Lady, a Jack Russell terrier named Mickey Rooney, a domestic shorthair named Uggo, and a Maine coon named Pumpkin. She also has a half-Arabian horse named Tekno and a miniature horse named Munchkin. Dr. Mathre has an interest in preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, pain management, and dentistry. She looks forward to being a part of your veterinary healthcare team at Acres North Veterinary Hospital and providing excellent veterinary care for your pets.
Lindsay Schroeder, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Schroeder joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in March of 2018. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences in 2001 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Originally from Illinois, she has practiced both in Indiana and most recently on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Dr. Schroeder is happy to be here in Lubbock with her husband and, (as self-proclaimed foodies and active travelers), they look forward to exploring what the area has to offer. Together, they are proud pet parents to Maizee (Boxer mix), Kiva (Shih-Tzu/Poodle), [and] Peggy Sue Organa (Chihuahua), and two incredibly handsome cats, Roux and Izzy. Dr. Schroeder has a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, and diagnostic imaging. She is very excited to be part of the team at Acres North and looks forward to meeting and helping you and your pets!
Dr. Cristina Hartmann, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Hartmann joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in July 2017. She grew up in Pennsylvania and received her Bachelors of Science from Penn State University in 2013. Then, Dr. Hartmann attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts, and she completed her clinical training at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She currently resides in Lubbock, TX with her husband, Greg. Their dog, Finn, and their cat, Maisie, were both adopted from the island of Saint Kitts. Dr. Hartmann loves to travel and has visited 5 of the 7 continents so far. She enjoys all aspects of primary care but is particularly interested in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and cardiology. She is excited to be living in Texas and practicing medicine at Acres North Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Temple, Veterinarian
Dr. Temple joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in May of 2018. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2013. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 as part of the Inaugural Class of Lincoln Memorial University which is in Harrogate, TN. Dr. Temple grew up in Lubbock, TX and has worked in the veterinary industry for 17 years and is happy to be back in her hometown practicing veterinary medicine. Dr. Temple is a proud pet parent to three dogs; Betsy (chihuahua), Little Nicky (Toy Rat terrier), and Dixon (Chihuahua/Jack Russell). Her main interests are surgery, wellness, and diagnostic imaging. She is very excited to be a part of the Acres North team and looks forward to meeting new clients and their pets!
