Working my way from the lead veterinary technician to management at Acres North and have been here over 15 years. I am from Lubbock, having graduated from Coronado High School and also previously attending South Plains College and Eastern New Mexico University.

I stumbled into veterinary medicine because I needed a job and Acres North needed a kennel technician; I didn’t realize that it would be a job that I love and am passionate about. I proceed with compassion and understanding for the pets we call patients and their owners, being trained in areas such as vaccination, surgical care, anesthesia monitoring, to emergency CPR.

I live in Lubbock with my 2 daughters, who love animals, reading, computers, and art. As my crew of wild and crazy dogs, I have 10 year old mixed breed Krichton who I adopted as a puppy, 6 year old Belgian Malinois Jake who I adopted as a puppy after he was hit by a car and lost one of his back legs, and recently adopted 1 year old lab Tartar Sauce.

I enjoy the outdoors as well as creating light shows and stage design for local bands and DJs. You might even catch me doing fire performances or spending time with my daughters out at the lake.
