I am a senior veterinary technician at Acres North and been a part of the team here since 2001.

Prior to moving to Lubbock in 2001, I retired from the British Royal Navy and was originally recruited by Covenant Health as a registered nurse, but found my true calling when volunteering at Acres North. I have been here ever since!

I had wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger but joined the Royal Navy to see the world, but found my way back to vet med at Acres North. I thoroughly enjoy my job here and help as training coordinator for our team.

Previously, I was a member of the Curriculum Advisory Board for the former veterinary technician program at Vista College, as I have a great passion for training. I am also a Fear Free™ Level 2 Certified Professional. My 2 sons Mark and Sean live and work in Lubbock, and my niece Emily is a student at San Angelo State University.

I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with my family. I adopted a rescued 3 year old German Shepherd named Aries from Acres North in January 2019 after the recent loss of my bloodhound, Tex.
